Carolina Beach Music Events

By

Many of my friends know my passion for supporting Carolina Beach Music. I got started many years ago when Jim Quick first asked me to help him with a new website for the Coastline Band. I started a website to keep up with all the links of bands and shag dance clubs. It quickly evolved into what I used to refer to as the Yahoo of beach music. As probably the top source for band schedule links and event information, Beach Music Online gets a lot of traffic. I greatly appreciate everyone that has helped to make that happen.

I am involved with several events every year including the Triangle Beach Music Festival in Garner, NC where the reported crowds have reached over 12000 fans. Another great event is the Capital City Wall to Wall Ball in Raleigh, getting ready to showcase a few bands for the 7th straight year this December. The CBMA Weekend held in November is one of the best times of the year for Beach Music in North Myrtle Beach, SC. No other event gives you a chance to see as many bands and artists packed in to just a few days. I’m proud to be a member of the CBMA.

A brand new event that I am really excited about is the Wild Turkey Ball, held the Saturday after Thanksgiving. People are already talking about this event being a sell-out. It should be a great night in Raleigh and looks to be another annual event held in the capital city.

Keep up with other great events featuring beach music bands and artists.
